The primary aspect of parasitology is morphological identification, which is the criterion that initiated the entire taxonomic process as we know it. However, even today, there are challenges, generally related to the host or animal under study. Regarding our research focus, domestic birds (Gallus gallus domesticus and Cairina moschata), we detected a lack of robust visual support and targeted technical literature. Thus, combined with the desire to “do science,” we planned to prepare this atlas, whose purpose is to provide identification support or guidance to all those who are following this path. This atlas aims to benefit professionals in the field with a set of information, in addition to fostering and supporting an equitable distribution of research benefits among the various sectors of society, contributing with national and international scientific data, and contributing to the health analysis of the breeding of these domestic birds in the Amazon region.
