Abstract: This article was born out of an interest in the relationship between audiovisual research, documentation, image, sound, education, archives and audiovisual production as a historical source and the impact of the thirtieth United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP-30), to be held in November 2025 in Belém (PA), where the University is located. The combination of Brazil's confirmation as the host of the most important environmental event on the planet and the commitment of UFRA's teaching and technical staff made it possible to carry out this project, which we are presenting in the form of an article. The project is in its initial phase and has been divided into two major actions for the three-year period 2024, 2025 and 2026: monitoring COP-30 meetings in different spaces, digitizing publicity materials, news articles and records in other areas, with the aim of creating an important collection on the formulation and development of the event. CEDA's second action is to carry out important internal work to digitize physical collections (printed, typewritten and handwritten), especially Theses, Dissertations and TCCs, in order to preserve and remember the university's history. All this digitized material will be available for research in the Library's institutional repository, in open source format.

Abstract: Old aerial photographs (1940) were used for a temporal and spatial analysis of land use suitability of a watershed in Piracicaba County. Aerial photographs of 1962, 1978 and 1995 were used too. The analyses were performed on Idrisi. Despite the antiquity, the 1940’aerial photographs were interpreted in a satisfactory manner and the control points selected allowed the overall georeferencing and analyses. The use of old aerial photographs showed that already in 1940 a considerable part of the watershed, 27,66%, was inadequately used. This land use pattern repeated in 1962, 1978 and 1995. While 10,25% of the watershed was inadequately used in all dates, only 56,51% of the land suitable for crops was used with sugarcane in 1995.

Abstract: Computer programming is a complex activity, specilly for students who start their studies in the area of informatics. This reality has just raising the repetition and dropout rates in higher education. This paper presents a teaching proposal developed with freshmen of information systems course, using the Logo programming language as a teaching tool. In both experiments reported in the study we observedthat the group of students who participated in the workshops have performed better in introductory programming course, and that this improvement was most notable in the first experiment, where participants demonstrated more motivated.
